Join Repair the World for a Racial and Economic Justice shabbat dinner to start Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend. At the dinner, we will hear from organizations working to address the immediate economic and social needs caused by systemic and persistent injustice based on race, class, ability and more. We are focusing on our local community in East Liberty and our neighbors, as well as pathways to economic empowerment.
This shabbat dinner will include vegan entrees, wine, challah, and music. It will be a chance to meet new people and learn together about important topics greatly affecting our area.
This Turn the Tables Shabbat Dinner is hosted by Repair the World Pittsburgh, in partnership with OneTable, Open Hand Ministries, Circles Greater Pittsburgh.
