The Gymnasium at the Ace Hotel
120 S Whitfield St, Pittsburgh, PA 15206

Parking is available on surrounding streets and in lots located off S. Beatty Street.

Urban Research and Design, taught by Dr. Michael Naragon, is a year-long history course that investigates issues surrounding urban development. Students learn about urban design principles and  history of development in Pittsburgh, then spend significant time focused on a current development project. The students conduct multiple site visits and meet various community stakeholders before proposing their own original plans, including 3D models, for the redevelopment of the site.

Please join us in celebrating the students' work. A formal introduction will be provided at the start of the event, though you are welcome to join us at any time during the hour to freely explore their proposed plans and models while engaging them in conversation.

RSVPs to nyea@winchesterthurston.org are encouraged.
