In celebration of fair housing month, Dr. Andre Perry of the Brookings Institution will discuss majority-black places and institutions in America, focusing on highlighting valuable assets worthy of increased investment, with a special focus on the devaluation of black homes in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. This will be followed by the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) Task Force’s presentation of recommendations forhousing policies in the Pittsburgh area.
