Inside Out

A New Outdoor Summer Event Series, Launching June 5

Inside Out celebrates Pittsburgh’s rich cultural landscape with performances, summer jams, art activities, food, and drink on Thursday nights and Saturdays, and is free and open to audiences of all ages!

This summer, make the museum’s courtyard your backyard! Join us for a celebration of Pittsburgh’s rich cultural landscape. Hosted in partnership with local artists, arts organizations, and regional dish and drink vendors, Inside Out extends the museum experience outdoors in a safe, physically distant environment.

From June 5 through September 4 on Thursdays from 4–8 p.m. and Saturdays from noon–5 p.m.

Reconnect with friends, family, and community while being surrounded by art. On Thursday evenings, enjoy happy hour while listening to the summer jams of our region’s top DJs. On Saturdays, drop in for family friendly art making activities, see never-before-seen site-specific performances by Pittsburgh artists and arts groups, and hear even more summer music by our favorite DJs. Inside Out will host local food trucks and a bar created by the museum’s Café Carnegie featuring custom snacks, kid-friendly treats, delicious wines, and local beers.

Inside Out events are FREE and open to audiences of all ages. Inside Out events have limited capacity and will be available on a first come first serve basis. Make a day of it and reserve your timed tickets to visit the museum before or after you enjoy Inside Out!
